Graduate Development

Advisian’s Futures Program will challenge you and extend your capabilities. We’ll fast-track your learning and help you to ‘hit the ground running’ – developing your leadership, consultancy and technical skills.

You’ll be exposed to a broad range of projects and training activities. You’ll gain a unique overview and insight into how Advisian operates and have the chance to develop close working relationships with industry leaders.

We can help you to realise your full potential and open up a whole world of future employment options.

  • Work on some of the most exciting projects in Australia.
  • Develop expert consultancy skills.
  • Learn from the most talented professionals in your field.
  • Build lasting networks that will benefit your entire career.

During your time in the Futures Program, you’ll work across Advisian's key service lines. As you rotate across each of these areas, you’ll work with different teams and develop new skills.

Advisian will team you up with an experienced professional, who will act as your mentor, as well as a graduate ‘buddy’ to help you learn the ropes.

This mix of client-based work, team building, mentoring and a carefully structured training program provides a fun and balanced approach to learning. By the end of the graduate program you will have broad exposure to the industry and the wide variety of roles that are available.

The number of graduates taking part in the Futures Program varies each year. Over the last three years, roughly eight graduates per year have joined the program across Australia.

Our Graduate Development Program offers training in consulting skills, leadership and core knowledge. As well as getting to know about many areas of our business, you’ll receive broad exposure to the engineering and infrastructure industry.

You will also get to work closely with senior people. A select number of graduates are chosen each year to participate in the Future Leader Acceleration Program where you will receive one-on-one coaching from members of our Executive Team including the Managing Director.

And, while you’re developing your skills, you’re also learning what you’re best at and what you most enjoy. This can help you make informed decisions about your eventual areas of specialisation.

You’ll also take part in some great team building activities. The types of activities include dinners and meetings with other graduates, networking with staff and graduates from our parent company WorleyParsons, and the Outward Bound outdoor leadership program.

We place graduates from most disciplines.

However, success is about much more than just having an excellent academic record.

You will be enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in our business. Your communication skills and problem-solving abilities will be outstanding and you will be the type of person who shows initiative and leadership potential.

Positions in the Futures Program are available in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
