With a strong career background in front end development and technology management, Joe has multi-sector experience in the development of global projects. His strong conceptual skills and technology insights have positioned him as an industry leader in his field. He has delivered numerous papers at key industry conferences (World Gas Conference, OTC, GasTech) on topics ranging from gas monetization, floating LNG, marine CNG and deep water technology.

His career record includes:

Field development planning - Management and execution of field development studies, conceptual and FEED projects for both offshore and onshore, and leveraging these front positions into EPC project development. Responsible also for the development of core FEED/Select capabilities and resources at employer’s principal upstream operating centers.

Technology management - Leadership of upstream technology. Focus areas included FLNG, deep-water floating production (ETLP, etc), gas to wire and gas utilization, oil sands/heavy oil technology, offshore membrane systems, etc. Application of technology mapping processes, program development and technology projects steering, IP processes and technology commercialization. 

Strategic business development - Diversification into new technology based front-end driven business opportunities and the development and implementation of strategies in gas monetization, floating production, and gas to wire. Leadership and successful development of front-end capabilities/organizations in London and Houston. M&A focused on acquisition and integration of niche consultancies to enhance and diversify business opportunities of parent organization.
